Saturday January 28th 11:00pm

Corey hails from a well-known and respected New Orleans Jazz family. His Grandfather, drummer Chester Jones, played with many New Orleans greats . His Uncle, Benny Jones, also plays drums and leads the Treme Brass Band. Corey was influenced by New Orleans trombonist, Jim Robinson, Wendell Eugene, and Freddie Lonzo. When not playing with his new band, TREME FUNKTET, Corey can be heard with Galatic and occasionally reunites with long-time close friends, Kermit Ruffins and the BBQ Swingers.

The award-winning Blue Nile Nightclub offers the best live music New Orleans has to offer, featuring a wide array of national and international acts in two rooms, with state of the art sound and lights.  Housed in the first building that was constructed on Frenchmen St in 1832, it became the first music venue on the street in the early seventies, as the legendary Dream Palace. In 2000 it became The Blue Nile and has carved out a unique niche in the vibrant Frenchmen Street scene. A jazzy blue and gold decor in the main room gives the live music venue a rich warm vibe. The upstairs music space, the Balcony Room, with the only public balcony on Frenchmen St, is also available for private parties and events.
